I started studying classical piano at the age of five, then violin at age seven. The classical training in those two instruments inspired me to teach myself the guitar, electric bass, ukulele, and mandolin, and to expand my instrumental repertoire to include the viola. I played bass and sang background vocals for singer-songwriters Jules Brave and Mike Baretz throughout 2017 and 2018 at gigs in Manhattan’s West Village. I am also an amateur music producer, and am proficient in Logic Pro X and consistently working to further develop my skills.

I began music directing starting as a freshman in high school, becoming the go-to MD and arranger for many productions and music ensembles. Upon entering Emerson College, I jumped headfirst into the school’s musical theatre community. I have been a member of the school’s oldest musical theatre organization as the resident music director since my first semester in Fall 2019 and have music directed two full length productions since. I was also hand-selected by musical theatre faculty to assist on Emerson Stage’s productions of Spring Awakening (Spring 2020) and Cabaret (Spring 2023).

In college, I also began working in composition, composing original pieces for a student feature film as well as the theme of a student television production. I made my debut as a theatrical composer and sound designer in 2022, designing a soundscape for a high-concept production of Antigone at Emerson College. This production was nominated for a college-wide EVVY Award for Outstanding Theatrical Production, and I was personally nominated for the award for Outstanding Theatrical Sound Design.
