I began my acting career as Annie in a local production of Annie at age 10, but quickly fell in love with classical theatre as a young person. I was a member of my local youth Shakespeare company, the Children’s Shakespeare Theatre in Rockland County, NY, where I acted in such productions as Much Ado About Nothing, Antony and Cleopatra, Titus Andronicus, and Henry VI, Part 3, and developed my love for theatre.
I continued this passion in college at Emerson College in Boston, MA, where I graduated with a BFA in Theatre & Performance with a minor in Art History. At Emerson, I honed my stage and film acting skills in numerous student and main stage productions such as Antigone, She Kills Monsters (for which I was nominated for an EVVY Award for Outstanding Leading Performance in a Play), As You Like It and The Wolves. At Emerson, I rounded out my creative pursuits beyond acting as a playwright, musician, and performance artist.
Since graduating from Emerson, I have relocated to New York and appeared in a production of Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband with the Gallery Players, as well as devising original works of theatre. I have also developed an affinity for film acting, starring in the short film Girls, Interrupted which is currently in competition for film festival selection nationwide.
